Nicole Muller has been with The Baby Show since its launch in 2002. Actually, back then she was Nicole Boakes and through the last ten years of the show she got married, became a mum for the first time and a second time! She lives in Surrey with her husband Gavin and two children Alice aged two and George 11 months.
Nicole recently returned to The Baby Show as Portfolio Director following the birth of her children.
Which living person do you most admire, and why?
Nelson Mandela, for what he has achieved, what he did for South Africa and how is so respected by so many different cultures and races.
What was your most embarrassing moment?
Drunk or sober? !
Drunk – I hate to think!
Sober – Putting on an old pair of pants where the elastic had gone, not realising and them falling down while walking down the street one summer!!
Aside from property, what’s the most expensive thing you’ve bought?
Holidays – before children that is where all our money went, 4 times a year to exotic locations!
What do you wish for your children?
Health and Happiness and that they grow up understanding that life is what you make it!

What is your favourite book?
I am not a great reader but over the years the books I have loved are Da Vinci Code, Disclosure by Michael Crichton and A stranger beside me by Ann Rule

Biting my nails
What is your earliest memory?
Drinking champagne from a plastic cup at Christmas aged 2.5
What is your guiltiest pleasure?
Chicken liver pate and Haribo Tangfastics, I could eat probably 2 whole packets at once!
What do you owe your parents?
I owe my mum for everything that I have achieved and become. If she was here today, I hope she would be proud.
What or who is the greatest love of your life?
My Husband and my children.

What is the worst job you have ever done?
Waitress in Pizza Express – In 3 days, I drop a bottle of beer over a customer, smashed a plate in the middle of the restaurant and a let a pizza slip into someone’s lap. I even charged someone £4 for their bill rather than £40! – Give me a business to analyse or run but don’t let me loose in a restaurant. I should be served rather than serve.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Giving birth to two children in two years.
How do you relax?
Before children – a nice meal out .
After children – Watching TV that you don’t need to use your brain for and a large glass of good wine!
What is the most important lesson life has taught you?
Make every day count, you never know what will happen tomorrow and smile in the face of adversity!
