Tradition still tends to rule when it comes to choosing a baby name in the UK. Even when some celebrities give their babies exotic or eccentric names, the rest of the nation is more conservative in naming their babies.

We're more likely to give the new baby a family name as the middle name rather than a first name with great meaning.
Jack, Thomas and Joshua are the most popular names for boys in the UK for the same trend in recent years, but for the girls it's all change. Grace has knocked Olivia off the number one spot, so the top three names are now Grace, Ruby and Olivia.
