Yummy Mummy-to-be Competition

Mothercare logo smallDoes your pregnant friend or partner deserve a fabulous treat? Are you pregnant – maybe you deserve a bit of pampering? Gorgeous celebrity mums-to-be Jessica Alba and Sara Cox are both perfect examples of just how yummy a mummy-to-be can look.

Mothercare is looking for pregnant women to model the new Moda maternity collection in fashion shows taking place at The Baby Show (NEC Birmingham, 16-18 May 2008).

As well as tickets to the show, the lucky mums-to-be will also have a make over by This Morning’s make up artist, Lisa Armstrong.

How to enter:

Please send a recent full face colour photograph with your name, address, contact details, date of birth, height, shoe size, current dress size and due date to the address below, with the answer to the question...

"Why I should be a yummy mummy" (in no more than 100 words).

Terms & Conditions

Mothercare UK Limited will not be responsible for and will not pay the prize-winner for any travelling expenses or overnight accommodation expenses in connection with the prize-winners’ attendance at The Baby Show, nor will Mothercare pay any expenses that the prize-winner incurs whilst attending The Baby Show.

The Baby Show will be held at NEC Birmingham, 16-18 May 2008 inclusive. Whilst, the prize-winners must agree to be available on these dates the prize-winner will only be required to model at Mothercare’s Yummy Mummy-to-be fashion show on one date.

Competition open to UK residents aged 18 and over except employees of Mothercare UK Limited, Clarion events, National Magazines, their subsidiaries and associated companies, their families or agents.

To be a valid entry, all the details requested in the ‘How to enter’ section above must be complete and the entry must be accompanied by a full face colour photograph of any size.

Only one entry per person. Acceptance of these rules is condition of entry. No responsibility can be accepted for failed delivery of postal entries, lost, mislaid or damaged. All entries become the property of Mothercare UK Limited and photographs will not be returned. Mothercare UK Limited reserves the right to publish prize-winner’s photographs, names and home county in future Mothercare publicity and publicity supporting The Baby Show.

There will be 12 winners and each prize-winner will be asked to model for one day at Mothercare’s Yummy Mummy-to-be fashion show at The Baby Show. On the day of The Baby Show, the prize-winner will have their hair styled and make-up applied. Each winner will also receive 4 complimentary Baby Show tickets for the date that the prize-winner will be modelling. No cash or other prize alternatives will be offered and prizes cannot be modified.

All valid entries must be received by the closing date: 30 April 2008.

By entering the competition the winners agree that they will be available for the dates 16-18 May 2008 inclusive and will attend from 9.00am to 2.00pm and model at the Mothercare Yummy Mummy-to-be Fashion Show on one of these dates. It will be at Mothercare’s discretion, which date the prize-winners will model. The winners also agree that they will be available for pre and post event publicity by Mothercare.

All entries will be considered by a panel of judges who will be looking for a range of mums-to-be. The judges decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

The winners will be notified in writing within 28 days of the closing date.

Up to 8 weeks from the closing date, the name of the winners will be available on request if a S.A.E is sent to: Mothercare UK Limited, Cherry Tree Road, Watford, WD24 6SH marked “Yummy Mummy-to-be Competition Winners”

The information collected on the entry forms will be used for the purposes of administering this competition. Once The Baby Show has been held, all entry forms and photographs will be destroyed.
