Let your creativity blossom with a range of new cushions in 100% Organic cotton too!
Here in Scandinavia, getting back to nature isn’t just a trend, it's a way of life - no matter the time of year. Though we embrace all that the snow has to offer (we kind of love it), it's fair to say that after a cold, dark winter, we’re on the look-out for those first tell-tale signs of warmer, lighter days to come.
Bring a little piece of Spring in to your home and experience the genius and beauty of Scandinavian design at its best with our award-winning Tripp Trapp® chair in new Serene Pink
Inspired by the blushing buds on cherry trees, our designers took a cue from mother nature herself. Whenever we see this soft, subtle color, we’re reminded of Spring, the magical time of year when the earth awakens. It’s a time of renewal, rejuvenation and a reminder that we can so the same.
Alongside this revitalized, iconic piece you can also embrace the time of change and let your creativity bloom with a garden of new cushions. Made with the softest organic cotton and an easy-wipe PFC free coating; these inspiring new designs add a sprinkling of serenity, freshness and joy that’s a pleasure to see and touch.
A Chair for Life
Ever since it was created by Norwegian designer Peter Opsvik in 1972, the chair that grows with the child revolutionized the entire children’s seating category. Brilliant in its simplicity, it is designed for every stage of childhood and beyond. A true icon, the Tripp Trapp® chair can be used for a lifetime. This is longevity in its purest form.
Tripp Trapp® Concept
For over 40 years, millions of children around the world have enjoyed their meals and grown-up using the iconic Tripp Trapp® chair. Today, as then, the intelligent, adjustable design allows freedom of movement with both a depth- and height adjustable seat- and footplates. When adjusted correctly, your child is ensured a comfortable and ergonomic seating position at any age.
What Sets Tripp Trapp® Apart?
Tripp Trapp®is one of Scandinavia’s most recognizable designs. The key to its success is timeless, quality design and the ability to grow with your child, enabling them to sit together with the rest of the family. It is designed to fit right up to your dining table allowing your child to learn and develop alongside you. Giving high-quality, daily interaction with their family that positively impacts a child and stimulates their healthy development.
The Design Story
When Peter Opsvik´s son Tor was two years old, Opsvik discovered that Tor had outgrown his high chair and could not find one which allowed him to sit comfortably at table height with the rest of the family. From this observation, Opsvik changed the way we look at children´s seating by creating a chair that would truly give children of all ages a comfortable, ergonomic seat at the table. Tripp Trapp® was invented.
