Author and Maternal Mental Health Advocate
AboutOlivia Siegl is the proud owner of two tiny humans, author of the best-selling book “Bonkers-A Real Mum’s Hilariously Honest Tales of Motherhood, Mayhem and Mental Health” and a Maternal Mental Health Advocate, passionate about empowering every mum to take care of their mental health. After suffering from severe Postnatal Depression and Postpartum Psychosis following the birth of her two daughters, Olivia set up The Every Mum Movement, a campaign that empowers mums to take care of their maternal mental health and speak more openly and honestly about motherhood.
Most recently, through the movement she has launched The Letters of Light Project; a global initiative connecting mums with lived experience of maternal mental health with mums currently suffering, through handwritten letters of support. The project has received a phenomenal response, gaining support from the NHS, leading charities and organisations around the world and high profile celebrity parents.
She writes regularly and is a contributor to the Huffington Post. The Mighty and The Metro and through her work has featured in the national press and TV as well as being invited to speak at the Houses of Parliament and the Department of Health.
