Fraupow Celebrates Five Years Of Supporting Women By Opening Landmark Feeding Room At Excel, London
The launch coincides with Fraupow’s 5th birthday celebrations, marking five years of supporting women through pregnancy and feeding journeys. Adding further significance, the opening falls on International Women’s Day — a powerful moment that reflects Fraupow’s ongoing commitment to championing and supporting women at every stage of motherhood.
One of the primary concerns of new parents is feeding their babies, and how they will manage to make that work whilst out and about enjoying life. As the first baby feeding brand to offer free Midwife support, Fraupow uniquely understand the challenges of being a new parent. That’s why they have created Fraupow Feeding Rooms in 13 locations across the UK, with the new flagship location at the Excel being the 14th to open.
The Fraupow Feeding Room will offer complementary breast pads, comfy feeding chairs and more in a clean, comfortable environment with privacy for those who want it.
Parents can pop in to use the Feeding Room free of charge at any time when the Excel Centre is open. Looking ahead, Fraupow will host a schedule of parenting events at the Excel Centre through 2026, offering visiting and local parents expert advice and support through their pregnancy and feeding journey. Together, the Excel Centre and Fraupow aim to make it the most welcoming and comfortable destination for parents in Newham now and long into the future.
Sunita Boyes, Founder and Managing Director of Fraupow said:
‘Fraupow is all about women supporting women. We’re immensely proud to have been the first breastfeeding brand to offer free midwife support to Mums. Our Feeding Rooms project has grown over the past three years, and we’ve had amazing feedback from the thousands of parents who have used the spaces.
We’re so excited to open a Feeding Room at the Excel Centre - it’s such a landmark location with a huge footfall. It’s wonderful to have this opportunity to reach even more new Mums and offer them the expert and real-world support that can make a huge difference on a tough day.’
