Ubere Mama has partnered with Making for Change, an award‑winning fashion training and manufacturing programme created by London College of Fashion (UAL) and the Ministry of Justice, to produce this season’s Florence T‑shirt collection. Making for Change provides accredited garment‑manufacturing training, industry‑recognised qualifications, and structured support to women at HMP Downview, followed by mentoring, work experience, and paid placements upon release. By manufacturing with this initiative, Ubere Mama strengthens its long‑standing commitment to UK production while contributing to a model that helps women build confidence, skills, and independence as they transition back into the community.

This collaboration reflects Ubere Mama’s mission to create thoughtfully designed breastfeeding apparel made by women, for women. The new Florence T‑shirts—crafted in bamboo and organic cotton/elastane fabrics and available in a range of colours, a print, and a stripe—will debut at The Baby Show NEC this May, proudly showcasing ethical production and meaningful social impact at the heart of the brand.
