Clarion Events is delighted to announce that The Baby Show with Lidl - the UK’s leading and most respected event for expectant and new parents - is ready to welcome visitors back safely to London’s Olympia from 23rd – 25th October 2020.
The Baby Show team have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure they move forward in the safest and most effective way so that visitors and exhibitors can feel confident to have an amazing experience. There is nothing quite like the buzz of live events - seeing all the leading and boutique baby brands together in this unique venue including Joie, Cybex, Maxi-Cosi, Bugaboo, BabyBjorn, Silver Cross, iCandy, Tommee Tippee, Medela, Cuddledry, Pura, Lindex, Chicco, Bubba Boo, Junior Jones, Kura Organics, Future Health Biobank, Cotterpillar and Placenta Plus. It’s an unrivalled opportunity for parents to get hands-on with baby products, speak to the brand experts directly and take advantage of exclusive offers.

Headline Media Partner, MadeForMums, the UK’s number one reviews site for parents, will be back with their famous Buggy Testing Track, where visitors can test drive the latest buggies and get impartial advice from its knowledgeable and friendly team. Editorial Director, Susie Boone, will also be sharing a comprehensive Buggy Buying Guide to visitors prior to the show to give them a head start on their shopping – with lots of tips parents probably would not have thought of! Visitors can also purchase an exclusive MadeForMums goody bag, packed full of products for parents and baby for just £5 (worth over £35), bookable in advance, ready for collection at the show.

The Sleep Clinic sponsored by John Lewis and Partners will provide an inspiring setting for parents to browse the latest nursery and baby furniture collections, with its trusted nursery advisors on hand to help guide parents to choose what is most suited to their lifestyles and baby’s needs. The popular Daisy First Aid Academy will offer free classes throughout the show where parents can learn essential life-saving first aid skills such as what to do if a baby is choking or has a febrile seizure. Parents can change their babies in a clean and safe environment at the Lidl Lupilu Baby Changing Area. The Joie Demo Area will be back offering expert product demonstrations and advice to help parents and parents-to-be find the best car seat for their lifestyle. Demos will be offered on a first-come-first-serve basis and will be run multiple times per day of the show.

The Baby Show has a new, exciting digital platform to complement its physical events. For the first time in the show’s history, new and expectant parents can view content on demand at the touch of a button, meaning no one will miss out on the exceptional expert advice that the show has to offer, on topics including birth, sleep, weaning, first aid and mental health. The Baby Show Live @ Home will give you the opportunity to hear from over 40 of the UK’s leading parenting and baby experts, learn new skills and will support mums, dads and parents-to-be in making confident parenting choices. This will be free to visitors who purchase a ticket to The Baby Show Olympia London, alongside an option to purchase a virtual-only pass to The Baby Show Live @ Home.

Zoë Bonser, Show Director says “We are so excited to get back to live events! We cannot wait to offer a safe and secure shopping experience. We know that after months of not being able to shop, touch and feel products, parents and parents-to-be are looking forward to finding the biggest selection of products for them and their baby in one place, at the best prices. We’ve missed seeing all the beautiful bumps and babies together and we couldn’t be happier to be back to support the parenting community and help them feel empowered to make confident and informed parenting choices. There will always be huge demand for expectant and new parents to test, try and compare products for their baby, which is why the show has been recommended by parents for over 18 years!”
