Be More Sustainable this Christmas

Sustainable Christmas | The Baby Show | The Baby Show Live @ Home
Sustainability is more important than ever and we know it can be hard to remember all the little things you can do to help when you have a baby to think about too.
It's important to make small changes where we can to be more sustainable. So, how can you do this when there's so much to buy for your little one? We've rounded up some lovely products and brands who took part in the recent Baby Show Live @ Home to help you buy what you need whilst being concious about the environment. Plus some top tips for a more sustainable Christmas.

Other than the products we buy for our little ones all year round, there’s lots of things we can do this Christmas to be a little more sustainable.

Here are our top tips:
  • Choose presents that will last or can be passed on.
  • Choose one big present instead of lots of little ones.
  • Shop locally. Supporting small businesses reduces shipping and helps the community.
  • Choose an eco-friendly Christmas tree with an FSC Certification to confirm that it has been sourced sustainably.
  • Send Christmas e-cards.
  • Hand-make your own gifts.
  • Make best use of leftovers to reduce waste.
  • Re-wear last year’s Christmas jumper
