Christmas Crafts My Baba | The Baby Show Live @ Home | The Baby Show
Our lovely friends at My Baba have come together with Nanny Anita (the real-life Mary Poppins!)  to get everyone in the festive mood with their favourite crafts.

Nanny Anita has over 12 years’ experience, working all over the world with children from two months to 17 years old. It’s safe to say she is an expert when it comes to keeping the little ones entertained! Nanny Anita is the resident Super Nanny at My Baba, who you have already met before at our shows. My Baba provides a platform for mums-to-be to get advice on parenting, pregnancy, lifestyle, and beyond.

There are seven brilliant crafts to choose from! Here’s our favourite…

Felt Christmas Stockings

Stockings can be a sentimental part of Christmas and we all love finding our old childhood ones when getting the decorations out each year. So, why not make it a tradition and get creative with your family with these cute and festive felt stockings.

What do you need?
  • Felt (in various colours)
  • Cotton wool
  • Ribbon
  • Decorations (glitter pens, sequins, buttons, etc )
  • Glue
  • Plain Paper

How to:
  1. On a plain piece of paper cut out a template for your stocking
  2. Draw around your stocking on the felt and cut it out. You will need to cut out two pieces to make one stocking
  3. Put on cut-out aside (this will be the back) and decorate the front piece. Let this completely dry before moving on, otherwise, your whole stocking may get stuck together!
  4. Cut a length of ribbon and glue it into a loop
  5. On the piece you set aside, glue the ribbon to the top corner, so it hangs properly
  6. Put a line of glue around the outside. Make sure not to glue along the top or you will glue the stocking shut! Place the front piece on top and press down.
  7. When they are finished, all you need to do is find the perfect place to hang them!
