About the illustrator: Bryony Clarkson is an English illustrator, living in the beautiful city of Oxford. She studied textiles at Loughborough College of Art before studying for an MA in Embroidery Design at the Royal College of Art in London. She worked for many years as an embroidery designer for both fashion and interiors, as well as a design lecturer at various UK art colleges, notably Chelsea College of Art and High Wycombe, where she headed up the Surface Design Degree Course.
