Alex Hobern is a sports presenter, broadcaster, and parenting content creator.

From live coverage with SailGP to rugby with ITV Sport and England Rugby, off-screen, he connects with a growing digital audience through honest, raw content on fatherhood. As a father of two, Alex shares real-life experiences with authenticity and openness, shaped by his own childhood and his mission to be the best father he can be.

Supporting other dads through his content, Alex is on a mission to be the best possible father he can, fueled by his own difficulties from his childhood. 

Alex lost his father aged 11 (2003) after a long battle with alcoholism. As a result, there are two values Alex truly holds dear. Firstly is sobriety, Alex has dedicated many years of his adulthood to being sober, in an attempt to ensure he does not share the same experience as his late father. 

This is underpinned by his focus on fatherhood and providing his two boys, Miles and Joss, with a completely different experience to that what Alex and his brother James experienced when losing their father. 

Alex sees this part of his life as a second chance to provide the best possible childhood and upbringing for his children, supported by his sobriety and pursuit of a career that lets him be as present of a father as possible.
