Carla Davison is the Founder and CEO of Basking Babies, the UK’s leading national franchise supporting parents through pregnancy and early parenthood with award-winning pregnancy relaxation, baby massage, baby reflexology, baby yoga, and sharing and support circles.
Carla started Basking Babies in 2012 after discovering the power of baby massage while pregnant with her first child. What began as small classes in her living room in Brentwood, Essex quickly grew into a nationwide community, helping thousands of families feel calmer, more confident and more connected with their babies. Today, Basking Babies instructors support parents across the UK both in person and online.
Under Carla’s leadership, Basking Babies has become a multi-award-winning brand, recognised for excellence in early years activities and for creating nurturing, supportive spaces where parents can learn, build friendships bond with their babies.
At The Baby Show ExCeL, Carla will deliver her session “The Power of Touch: An Introduction to Baby Massage.” This warm, practical talk will introduce parents to baby massage as a simple yet powerful way to bond, soothe and support their baby’s wellbeing. Through clear guidance and a live demonstration, Carla will show how gentle touch supports emotional security, communication and confidence in the early weeks and months. Parents will leave feeling reassured, informed and ready to try safe, simple techniques at home, while knowing where to find ongoing support in a class environment.
