Expert Speakers at The Baby Show

Dr Lillie Parker (MRCPCH BMBS BMedSci) is an NHS paediatrician with over 10 years experience working as a doctor in the NHS, currently specialising in paediatric emergency medicine at University Hospital Southampton. She set up her social media account Doctor Lils in 2023 to provide clear, evidence based tips and guidance for parents, from newborn care upwards. Having just become a mother herself, she brings a blend of clinical and lived experience to her audience. 

In this talk Dr Lillie hopes to inform parents more about newborn health, what is "normal" and what signs you might look out for to indicate that your baby is unwell. Focusing on breathing, fevers and vomiting as these are some of the most common reasons new parents present to A&E she hopes to give you some nuggets of wisdom to take away and empower you in those first few weeks and months with your baby.
