She’s passionate about evidence-based, midwife-led care and believes pregnancy and birth deserve compassion, continuity, and honest conversations. Known for her calm presence, straight-talking advice, and ability to make people feel safe and heard, she feels incredibly privileged to guide families from the minute they find out they’re pregnant to seeing them with their lovely baby.

Come and take a seat, take a breath, and let’s talk birth plans without the pressure or the jargon.

In this live talk, Midwife Lily, a UK-registered midwife, will guide you through how to create a clear, realistic birth plan that actually works in real life and reflect your wishes. Whether you arrive with a head full of ideas or no plan at all, you’re welcome to simply listen, learn, and ask questions.

Carefully designed birth plan template, created by a Midwife Lily, will be available to complete on the day. Or you can just come along and take it all in. There’s no right or wrong way to do this.

The session will cover:

• What a birth plan really is (and what it isn’t)

• How to communicate your preferences clearly

• The benefits and potential drawbacks of common birth choices

• How to keep your plan flexible while still feeling informed and in control

• What midwives look for in a solid, safe birth plan

There will be plenty of time for questions, honest discussion, and practical advice — all delivered in Midwife Lily’s calm, supportive, and down-to-earth style.
