Charlotte began her career as a staff nurse in orthopaedics before starting her midwifery training in 2008 in Leeds. Throughout her career, Charlotte has worked in several teaching hospitals in delivery suites, within a homebirth team and GP surgeries. She is also qualified to prescribe medication in pregnancies.  

Charlotte’s specialist areas are: 

• Prescribing in pregnancy 

• Intrapartum care 

• Social media throughout pregnancy, birth and recovery 

• Common ailments of the newborn
