Liz McClarnon is a long standing member of chart toping Noughty’s girl band “Atomic Kitten”. Together with band mates Natasha Hamilton and Jenny Frost they have celebrated over 20 years as one of Europe's most-loved girl groups, with an accolade of success including, topping the charts in 19 countries, 15 top 10 singles, a no1 selling album and 3 number 1’s!
From the moment they burst onto the scene with their debut single Right Now, the girls have been wowing audiences around the world, becoming the first all-girl group to hit No. 1 in the singles, albums, and DVD charts simultaneously.
Their classic hit ‘Whole Again’ went straight in at Number One, staying at the top of the charts for an amazing four weeks, beating off competition from U2 and The Spice Girls record “Wannabe”. Atomic Kitten even set a new Guinness World Record as the 1st girl group with the longest stay in the UK top 40!
In more recent times as Euro Fever hit the UK in Summer 2020, fans got to see all three kittens reunite as Jenny Frost re-joined the band in support of the England football team. With a revised version of their smash hit Whole Again “Southgate You’re The One” the girls added another top 20 hit 20 years after the release of the original track which also re-entered the charts in the top 40.
With a legacy behind them Atomic Kitten have become synonymous with fun, glamour, beauty and most importantly some of the best pop tunes of multiple generations!
2023 had so many highs professionally and personally for both band mates. As proud Liverpudlian’s Liz and Tash performed as part of the Eurovision opening ceremony in Liverpool to a global audience watching. Personally, Natasha and her husband welcomed baby Kitty into the world and Liz married her prince charming.
With Tash now taking time off to concentrate on her solo career, Liz has an exciting year to come and a diary full of live shows across the UK and Europe with her Pop & Prosecco tour which sees her singing all the Atomic Kitten Hits!
