We have been helping new and expectant parents find everything they need for their growing family since 2002.

General Questions


Q. When is The Baby Show Manchester 2024?

A. The Baby Show Manchester Central takes place from 7-9 June 2024.



Q. Are there any other The Baby Shows in other locations?

A. Yes, The Baby Show takes place 4 times a year. The next events are 12-14 May at NEC Birmingham and 20-22 October at Olympia London in 2023 and 1-3 March at ExCeL London in 2024.



Q. What are the opening times of The Baby Show Manchester 2024?

A. Opening times are as follows:

  • 10:00 am - 4:30 pm Friday 
  • 10:00 am - 4:30 pm Saturday
  • 10:00 am - 4:30 pm Sunday



Q. Can children attend the event?

A. Yes, we welcome all the family to the event. Children 0-14 years can attend the show for free. They will still require a ticket for entry. If you have forgotten to book a child's ticket, these can be obtained upon arrival.

Q. Can I buy tickets on-the-door?

A. Our online box office will be available for you to purchase your ticket on the morning you decide to come. 



Q. Can I buy tickets over the phone?

A. It is no longer possible to purchase tickets over the phone, these will need to be purchased online when available - sign up here to be informed of when tickets are available for purchase.



Q. I’m having trouble booking tickets or I need to change my ticket to a different day. Who should I contact?

A. For any questions regarding your ticket purchase, either during booking or afterwards please contact our ticketing agent. They can be contacted using their Customer Service Portal.

Q. I have brought an E-ticket. Do I need to bring a printout or show it on my smartphone?

A. We encourage you to show your ticket on your smartphone. Please only bring a printout of our e-ticket if you do not have a smartphone. 



Q. Can I get a free ticket for my carer?

A. Yes!

If the person you are attending with has a disability that restricts their ability to attend on their own and to the extent where extra support is required, please email enquiries@thebabyshow.co.uk with proof of booking and proof of disability to receive a free carer ticket. A carer ticket must be accompanied by a paying visitor.



Q. Can I exchange or refund my tickets?

A. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or resold for commercial gain. Please contact our ticketing agent for more information. They can be contacted using their Customer Service Portal.

Accessibility Questions


Q. Is there easy access for my stroller?

A. Yes, there is a lift at the main entrance, or alternatively step-free access around the corner.



Q. Where are the wheelchair-accessible toilets located?

A. Male and female wheelchair-accessible toilets are provided throughout the venue. Please ask a member of the security staff if you are unable to locate these.



Q. How can I get assistance during my visit?

A. If you have any queries or need assistance during your visit, please contact any member of the Manchester Central staff who will be happy to help.



Q. Does the Live Talks Stage have a hearing loop facility?

A. Yes, there is a hearing loop facility.



Q. Will there be a BSL interpreter on the Live Talks Stage?

A. To be confirmed.



Q. What parking facilities are available for Blue Badge holders?

A. There are a limited number of disabled parking bays available in the venue NCP car park for blue badge holders. These are allocated on a first come first serve basis, however it is best to pre-book a space online in advance.  




Q. Can I rent a wheelchair at the venue?

A: Manchester Central has some self-propelled wheelchairs available for use within the venue.

Q. What is the best way to get to Manchester Central?

A. Manchester Central is in the heart of Manchester, and easy to reach via Manchester’s extensive multi-modal transport network. Full details can be found here or on our Plan Your Visit to Manchester Central page.



Q. What is the postcode for Manchester Central?

A. The postcode for Manchester Central is M2 3GX.



Q. Which is the nearest train station?

A. Manchester Central is a 20-minute walk from Piccadilly Station or just five minutes by taxi. Alternatively, catch a connecting train to Oxford Road Station - just five minutes from Manchester Central on foot.



Q. How much is parking?

A. There is an NCP (National Car Park) directly below Manchester Central that is open 24 hours a day all year round. See the NCP website for parking options and costs:

  • Use code BABY123 to book your parking space for 24 hours for £14.00. This product can only be used to pre-book for visits between the show dates.
  • This can only be used to pre-book for visits between the show dates. The code can be used 2 hours in advance if you're booking on-the-day of your arrival.  It has to be booked through the Manchester NCP carpark website. 
  • If the car park is full you will still need to book through Manchester Central and then go to the NCP Great Northern or Manchester Oxford.

  • The code will work for NCP Manchester Central, once full this will then work for NCP Great Northern, then Manchester Oxford Street.
  • Book NCP Manchester Central

Q. Where can I eat and drink?

A. There are numerous facilities on-site to cater for all needs and dietary requirements as detailed on our Family Friendly Facilities page, and the Manchester Central Restaurants and Bars page.


Safety & Security


Q. Is there a first aid room at the venue?

A. To be confirmed.



Q. What measures are being put in place to run the show in line with government guidelines against COVID?

A. Book with confidence to The Baby Show, knowing that the safety and wellbeing of our visitors, exhibitors and staff are of the utmost importance to us.

Although we do recommend taking a lateral flow test before your arrival to ensure the safety of yourself and others, you will NOT need to show proof of vaccination or a negative lateral flow text upon entry.

What to expect when visiting The Baby Show Live:

  • Upon arrival, our front-of-house team will be available to answer any questions you may have 

  • We encourage you to wear a face-covering if you feel more comfortable doing so.  

  • There will be hand sanitiser points available around the building.

Q. Is proof of COVID status required to gain entry?

A. In line with the latest government guidelines COVID status verification is no longer a requirement for entry into the Baby Show Manchester Central 2023. 



Q. Am I required to wear a face mask at The Baby Show 

A. This is currently a personal preference, however, this is subject to change.
